This pretty much means what it says.
I've gotten so much trouble for being goth, I've gotten death threats and been shunned and bullied terribly.r A group of kids tried pushing me down a tall flight of stairs, and even a group of foot-ball players tried to pin me down in the locker room and sexually harrass me.
But, I deal with it, because I love it so much. I don't care how they treat me, and even though it brings trouble, I still am going to be myself.
I love being goth, and I love being me, which is why I made this stamp. People think I'm evil for being goth, and they think that I eat kittens and go around biting people (I'm the one who likes being biten)
People make up sterotypes and try to alientate others, but please just stay true to you. And if they don't want to get to know the real you, they're not worth your time.

Aww I feel you sweetie. I’m scared to dress goth because I may get the same reactions. I live in the Deep South and I grew up with a moralistic grandma, my mother is more supportive of me. Being goth doesn’t mean you’re edgy, I mean the perky goth trope exists for a reason. Watch Hotel Transylvania and you will see my point. Goth is about the music and the fashion choice. You can have an upbeat and energetic personality and be goth, and you can be a goth and be the IT person. The point is that the reason why these people say and do these things to you is from what they know of goths from popular media. Just like popular media enforces misconceptions about police and people are taking notice because of BLM, maybe popular media can change the way people see goths, as not always being depressed or monotone, but having more of a vibrant personality, being more out there, being human. You are stronger than your bullies so don’t let them get to you!! ☠️☠️☠️🖤🖤🖤🖤
